Fifth Avenue Penthouse

This penthouse apartment was designed to emphasize views of Central Park and display of the extensive art collection. The windows were greatly enlarged, taking advantage of the fact that the penthouse was set back from the building's main facade. Furnishings and finishes, including an end-grain wood floor, were kept minimal so as not to overpower the primary design objective.
